Juvenile Assessment Center

The Tallahassee Leon County JAC is a comprehensive assessment center operating 24-hours daily, providing screening and assessment of youth that have been arrested within the community. JAC offers a secure booking and receiving facility for local law enforcement officials and operates as a clearinghouse for access to a variety of informational support services for youth and their families. The knowledgeable JAC staff is available 24 hours a day to assist the community and our partners with information pertaining to after hours services and resources. The Tallahassee Leon County JAC was established in collaboration with city, county, and state law enforcement, court officials, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Leon County School Board, and various private non-profit agencies.
